The archives of the Southern Jewish Historical Society are housed in the :
College of Charleston, Special Collections in Addletone Library. 

The inventory to the collection is in two parts, which can be accessed online.

The collection contains records of SJHS activities, including minutes of the meetings, agenda, reports from officers and committees, financial records, papers of former presidents and committee chairmen, correspondence, membership lists, constitution and bylaws, legal documents, essays submitted for the Student Essay Prize, grant proposals, programs and recordings from annual meetings, photographs and clippings, copies of the SJHS newsletters, and materials related to the Society’s journal, Southern Jewish History. In addition, some materials document specific southern Jewish families, communities, and synagogues.
