Southern Jewish Travel Join the SJHS in learning about the Jewish South. To assist you in your travels, we have listed historical information, by geographical region.
As with all travel plans, be sure to call in advance of your visit to be sure that the location is open for you to visit. When visiting synagogues, it is suggested that you call in advance to find out the hours of services and any appropriate customs.
If you have enjoyed your visit to any of these Jewish sites, you might consider sending a small donation to the location as a thank you after you have arrived home.
Do you know of a Southern Jewish historical location not listed? Please inform our webmaster, so that your information can be added to our growing Southern Jewish Travel Guide.
Please only submit Jewish historical sites which are located
in one of the United States listed above. All other submissions will be
deleted. Submissions will be added within 90 days. For submission of
event listings, please see our events page.
