In 2014, the Helen Stern Family began making yearly donations to the Southern Jewish Historical Society to be used for cultural events and lectures supporting southern Jewish history. The Dr. Bruce Beeber family, a longtime friend of the Stern family, has been integral in helping SJHS steward the use of these annual donations.
